Overview

The Redlands RSL has three pension officers to assist veterans in the community: David Smock, Bob Fittler & John Clifton.

Our Pension Officers are trained under the Department of Veterans’ Affairs TIP Training Scheme and must update their training every two years. Pension officers work at the Redlands RSL Veteran’s Community Centre three (3) days a week by appointment.

Pension Services include:

• Assessment and assistance to understand your pension entitlements.
• Assistance and advice in the preparation of initial disability claims and lodgment with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
• Assistance and advice with the upgrade of an existing Disability Pension.
• Advice and assistance with appeals against any Departmental decisions.
• Assist with any other Pension related matters.
• Strict confidentiality applies.
